Update:- Our next auction which was due to be held at the Warwick Arms Hotel on Tuesday 21 April has now been postponed. We’ll let you know when we have a new date
Original post:-
Our next public property auction will be held at the Warwick Arms Hotel on Tuesday 21 April at 6.30pm. We’re the only property auctioneers in Warwick and Leamington and our Managing Director James Hawkesford, a fellow of the National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers, will be the auctioneer.
We have two properties for sale at the auction so far – the first is a detached bungalow on an established plot on Fieldgate Lane in Kenilworth. It has great scope for modernisation or redevelopment subject to the normal planning permissions and consents.
The second is a three bedroom detached property in Bishop’s Itchington. The property offers a good level of accommodation throughout which in brief comprises; entrance hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, three double bedrooms, family bathroom, two garages, additional land and off road parking area. There is a double garage with additional land and there is scope for improvement or redevelopment.
Selling at auction can be as quick as eight weeks from instruction to completion and once the hammer falls it’s a done deal – with contracts being exchanged on the day and the agreed price required to be paid within 28 days.
Unusual properties or those needing modernisation suit an auction sale, and a sensible reserve price means that sellers can virtually guarantee a sale on the day.
We offer free, no obligation auction appraisals for your property. So, if you think your home is suitable for this type of sale, call us on 01926 430 553.
Charity Auctions
James is always happy to help with charity auctions. He’s got two booked in this Spring, one for Leamington Rotary Club’s Annual Dinner on March 20 and then another for Alderney Animal Welfare on 8 April. Get in touch if you’d like to check whether he can help out at an event.
